This page is informational.
It shows how SMS opt-in works on the Idyad Research Platform and reproduces the
real opt-in form as proof. You cannot opt in on this page.
The actual opt-in happens after signing in, on the Notification Consent page:
The Idyad Research Platform sends transactional, research-related SMS messages
to enrolled participants who opt in. Opting in happens only after signing in.
SMS consent is optional and is not required to participate in the
research program.
How to opt in (sign-in required)
SMS opt-in is available only to enrolled participants, who receive login
credentials from the study team. The opt-in steps are:
In the Text message (SMS) notifications section, enter your mobile
number, read the disclosure, tick the SMS consent
box (it is unchecked by default), and click
Save my choices. A confirmation is shown on the page.
The SMS box is separate from every other choice on the page and is not bundled with
any other agreement. Every grant and withdrawal is stored with a timestamp, the number
it applied to, and the exact wording shown.
What SMS messages you'll receive
The Idyad Research Platform sends only transactional, research-related SMS:
Daily summary alerts — a short note that your personalized daily report is ready in your email inbox.
Activity-goal reminders — only for activity goals you choose to set, and only if you ask for text reminders.
Operational notices — occasional updates about your devices or the study when relevant to you.
We do not send promotional, marketing, or third-party messages. Expected volume:
approximately one SMS per day or fewer.
